Do you need to spring clean your hair routine?

Spring is a time for renewal, and a great opportunity to reassess your hair care routine. Take a moment to read our guide on how to spring clean your hair routine!

Reassess Your Hair

Our hair and scalp can change over time. Take the opportunity to check in on your hair and scalp health – is it dry, oily, lacklustre? As we transition from winter into spring it’s important to restore moisture (excessive hair dryer use anyone?). This is also a great time to visit us in salon so we can keep a check on your overall hair health.

Give Your Hair A Break

With the increase in temperature, spring is a good opportunity to give your hair a bit of a break. If you get a chance to air dry your hair, take it. And with the move into summer you may be able to space out the time between colour appointments.

Consider Your Bedding

Just like you might change your bedding or home décor in the spring months, your haircare needs consideration too. Spring is a great time to invest in a silk pillowcase to help prevent tangles and breakage during the night and to keep your hair silky smooth.

Chop It

If you’ve been thinking about a change, spring is your perfect opportunity to change up your style. Always wanted to be a red-head? Do it? Want a choppy bob? Embrace it? The new season is the perfect excuse for a new look to go with.

Nourish Your Hair From The Inside Out

As we come out of winter hibernation, mother nature offers us a lot in the form of fresh fruit and veggies for spring. These are all packed with vitamins and minerals that help promote hair growth and health – so we recommend you get your 5 plus a day and nourish your hair from the inside out.
